The Blackberry Lily, ‘Belamcanda chinensis’ is a plant that is native to North America and is a great perennial. The foliage appears early in the spring and looks like a miniature iris. then in mid summer a beautiful Orange flower with dark red spots appears. After the flowers have faded on the BlackBerry Lily the seed pod turns into what looks like a blackberry.
