The clear blue summer foliage echoes with dwarf blue spruce and blue junipers. For a dramatic effect, try Helictotrichon with deep maroon leaved canna lilies. The blades are upright and divergent. Blue Oat grasses are mostly grown for its metallic blue foliage. The handsome flowers resembling one-sided oat panicles appear in June and grow 1-2 feet above the leaves.
