The Gazania Daybreak Rose Stripe, ‘Gazania splendens’, are early to flower and the compact 8 inch tall plants produce flowers in rich magenta stripes against a creamy white background. The blooms open with the sun, and stay open longer than most varieties. The Daybreak Rose Stripe flower profusely throughout the warmer months. Water only when dry. Gazanias are sun worshippers, and they close up at night and on very cloudy days. Use in mass plantings, ground covers, edging, bedding, and containers.
