The Celosia Fresh Look Red, ‘Celosia plumosa’, also known as Cockscomb, is one of the most colorful foliage plants for beds, borders, pots, planters and window boxes and they provide a fresh floral look all summer long. The central plume can be 8 to 10 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Like all Celosia plumosa, the flowers can be cut and dried for long lasting homemade bouquets. This plant is vigorouis and is an excellent performer. It is an All-American selection Gold Medal Winner and a Fleuroselect Gold Medal Winner.
