The Montbretia Lucifer, ‘Crocosmia ‘LuciferÝ, is one of the newest CrocosmiÝs on the market today. Its bright, flame-red flowers stand out from the rest. Being the hardiest members of its genus, the sword-shaped foliage adds to any landscape. æLuciferÝ has a plant height of 36-42ö and a plant spread of 30-36ö. It does need a well drained site and full sun, but will tolerate morning shade. æLuciferÝ blooms in late summer to early fall, June through August. Try it as cut flowers or as a border plant in your perennial garden and it is also a major attractor to butterflies.
