The Coreopsis Plains Dwarf Bicolor, ‘Coreopsis tinctoria (Calliopsis)’, is a cheerful member of the Sunflower family and will delight gardeners with its vivid yellow and maroon flowers and feathery green foliage. The Coreopsis Dwarf Bicolor is very easy to grow and displays brilliant, easy color with continuous blooms. The flowers are 1 to 2 inches across and have a deep burgundy center. The foliage is dill scented. They are often used for cut flowers. Remove old flowers (deadhead) to encourage additional blooms.
