The Stock Twist, ‘ Matthiola incana’, has a unique color and spicy-sweet fragrance that will delight you outside in the garden or inside as a cut flower. Stock is a cottage gardeners delight as it is one of the few outdoor flowering plants that can be brought indoors to bloom. Place them in a cool spot and they may bloom spring, summer, and fall. If they are planted close to a window or in a window box, you can smell their sweet fragrance. Plant seeds in the spring after the last average frost date or in the fall for zones 9 or warmer.
