The Spring Beauty ‘White’, ‘Scilla siberica’, a fall planted bulb, is one of the first to bloom in the spring time. They will bloom for a 2 to 3 week period. Spring Beauty is particularly attractive under spring flowering shrubs such as forsythia, azaleas, rhododendrons and magnolias. Spring Beauty is also very attractive planted in masses and loose drifts of a hundred bulbs or more. Because Spring Beauty matures quickly, before tree leaves block out sunlight, they can be grown under deciduous trees. They are a great naturalizer for in woodland areas.
